Top MIAA Hoop Performances: March 3

Each and every night throughout the MIAA basketball playoff season, we will highlight the state's top performances. Here are my top performances from Monday night's slate of MIAA basketball state tournament play.

1. Infiniti Thomas-Waheed, St. G/F, Newton North

Holy Cross-bound wing controlled both ends of the floor with 22 points and 24 rebounds in the Tigers' 58-45 D1 South Semifinal win over Brockton.

2. Jake Wisniewski, Jr. F, Quaboag

Dominated the interior with 30 points and 18 rebounds, in a 73-42 blitzkrieg of Lenox in D4 West semifinals.

3. Janae Bunn, Sr. C, Springfield Central

6-foot-3 post filled up the stat sheet with seven points, 15 rebounds, five blocks and four assists in the Golden Eagles' win over rival West Springfield to punch a ticket to the D1 West Final.

4. Anthony Silfa, Soph. G, St. Mary's (Lynn)

Recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds in the Spartans' win over Hamilton-Wenham in D4 North.

5. Sadie Simons, Soph. F, Ware

Her 18 points and 13 rebounds lifted the Indians to a 42-30 win over Hopkins Academy in a D4 West semifinal.

6. Jimmy Campbell, Jr. F, Hamilton-Wenham

Played terrific in the Generals' loss to St. Mary's, totaling 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

7. Matt Kerans, Soph. G, Belmont

In the Marauders' 71-52 win over Salem, came up with 20 points, five rebounds and five assists.

8. Jess Korzec, Sr. G, Quaboag

Led the Cougars with 24 points in their 55-49 win over Monson in a D4 West semifinal.

9. Adam Klecker, Sr. F, Belmont

Led the Marauders with 21 points in their D2 North win over Salem.

10. Anna Walther, Sr. G, Northampton

Paced the Blue Devils with 20 pts in their D1 West semifinal win over Holyoke.
