Top MIAA hoop performances: March 4

Each and every night throughout the MIAA basketball playoff season, we will highlight the state's top performances. Here are my top performances from Monday night's slate of MIAA basketball state tournament play.

1. Brianna Rudolph, Sr. G, St. Mary's (Lynn)

UMass-Lowell bound guard outscored Bishop Fenwick by herself in a D3 North semifinal, going off for 36 points in a 68-32 rout.

2. Giulien Smith, Jr. G, Catholic Memorial

In the game that seemingly wouldn't end, Smith led the way for the Knights with 33 points as they outlasted Mansfield 96-90 in three overtimes to advance to Saturday's Division 1 South Final.

3. Keith Natale, Sr. G, Smith Academy

Hit the game-winning buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift Smith to a 73-70 win over Granby in a D4 West semifinal.

4. Keyon Jones, Jr. G Milton

Went off for 31 points as the Wildcats upset top seed Bishop Feehan in a D2 South semifinal.

5. Sam Hyslip, Sr. F, Westford Academy

Owned the paint with 29 points and 16 rebounds in a D1 Central semifinal win over Algonquin.

6. Ben Judson, Jr. F, St. John's Prep

Had a season-high 30 points and eight rebounds in the Eagles' overtime loss to rival Central Catholic in a D1 North semifinal.

7. Bam Rivers, Sr. F, New Mission

Recorded 14 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks in the Titans' 66-53 D2 North quarterfinal win over Tewksbury.

8. Emily Rosse, Jr. F, Hoosac Valley

Went off for 27 points in a 71-40 D3 West semifinal win over Granby.

9. Khaneil Bruce, Sr. F, St. Clement

Notched a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 53-48 win over Manchester-Essex in D4 North.

10. David Murrell, Sr. F, Springfield Putnam

Totaled 15 points and 14 rebounds as the Beavers blew out Leominster in a D1 West semifinal.
