Top MIAA hoop performances: March 7

Each and every night throughout the MIAA basketball playoff season, we will highlight the state's top performances. Here are my top performances from Friday night's slate of MIAA basketball state tournament play.

1. Brittany Stone, Sr. F, West Bridgewater

In 53-52 overtime loss to Greater New Bedford in the Division 4 South Final, registered 31 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks.

2. Kendra Hicks, Sr. F, Springfield Central

Dominated the paint with 16 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and three steals in the Golden Eagles' 49-35 win over Northampton in the D1 West Final.

3. Dylan Holland, Jr. G, Bishop Connolly

Went for 27 points in the Cougars' win over Bristol-Plymouth for their second straight D4 South title.

4. Eamonn Joyce, Jr. F, St. Clement

Totaled 23 points in the Anchormen's 62-57 win over St. Mary's (Lynn) in the D4 North Final.

5. David Murrell, Sr. F, Springfield Putnam

In the Beavers' rout of West Springfield in the D1 West Final, scored 20 points and added eight rebounds.
