Everett High junior defensive back Lukas Denis has verbally committed to Boston College for the 2015 season, he announced last night on his Twitter account.

Denis is the second in-state commitment for head coach Steve Addazio's 2015 recruiting class, joining Shepherd Hill offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom, who committed last weekend.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Denis had a breakthrough campaign this fall, earning ESPN Boston All-State honors after helping the Crimson Tide reach the Division 1 North Finals. From the cornerback position, Denis registered 32 tackles and one interception. As a wide receiver, he had 14 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns, and returned a punt for another score. He generally projects as a cornerback at the next level.
Denis continues a recent pipeline of defensive backs making the trek from Everett High to Chestnut Hill. In recent years, Crimson Tide stars such as Isaac Johnson, Jim Noel and Manny Asprilla have all made immediate contributions in the Eagles' secondary upon their arrival. Noel went undrafted last spring, but was signed by the Seattle Seahawks for minicamp.
One of the top defensive back prospects in Massachusetts, Denis was also offered by UMass and Holy Cross.
More details to come later.
