1. Shane Combs, Jr. RHP, St. John’s (Shrewsbury)
Notre Dame commit threw his second no-hitter of the season, striking out 16 batters, as the Pioneers shut out North Middlesex 6-0 to set up a big showdown with Leominster in Wednesday’s D1 Central semifinals.
2. Tyler Hudson, Jr. RHP, Assabet
Tossed his second no-hitter of the season, striking out five, as the Aztecs shut out Auburn in D3 Central.
3. David Longstreeth, Jr. RHP, Smith Academy
Struck out 14 batters, allowing just two hits and a walk, as the Falcons shut out Ware 5-0 in D4 West.
4. Dennis Sneade, Sr. RHP, Oxford
Struck out 14 and went the distance for the Pirates, who beat Narragansett 4-3 in nine innings, in D4 Central.
5. Dan Carroll, Jr. INF, Taconic
Went 4 for 5 with 4 RBI in an extra-innings, 10-5 upset of Westfield in D1 West.
6. Jack Riley, Sr. RHP/INF, St. Peter-Marian
Threw eight strikeouts on the mound, and helped his cause at the plate with a two-run double, in a 7-0 shutout of Wachusett in D1 Central.
7. John Ryan, Jr. RHP, Norwood
Struck out 11 batters in the Mustangs’ 8-0 shutout of Brockton in D1 South.
8. Luke Brennan, Sr. RHP, Doherty
Franklin Pierce commit pitched a three-hit shutout, striking out nine, as the Highlanders beat Algonquin 1-0 in D1 Central.
9. Jake O’Rourke, Jr. OF, Norwood
Went 3 for 4 with four RBI, falling a home run short of the cycle, in the Mustangs' 8-0 shutout of Brockton in D1 South.
10. Sid Warrenbard, Sr. 1B, Lincoln-Sudbury
Went 3 for 5 with three RBI, and also threw an inning of relief, in the Warriors' 11-4 win over Silver Lake in Super 8.
