Ledo set to arrive at Notre Dame Prep

ESPN's Adam Finkelstein has confirmed through Notre Dame Prep coaches that Providence native Ricardo Ledo, one of the Class of 2012's most dynamic scorers, is set to arrive at the Fitchburg, Mass. campus today.

The 6-foot-6 Ledo, the Class of 2012's No. 3 shooting guard and No. 13 overall player, left South Kent (Conn.) earlier this month. A team source initially told ESPNBoston's Brendan Hall that Ledo was en route last night to Notre Dame Prep. This marks the third school in eight months for Ledo, who left St. Andrew's (R.I.) last June.

Ledo made a big splash locally last month when on Christmas Eve he verbally committed to Providence over a slew of high-major suitors, including Kansas, Kentucky, UConn, UCLA, Syracuse, Villanova, Texas, Pitt and West Virginia.
