ND Prep's Ledo decommits from Providence

Barely a month and a half after giving Providence head coach Keno Davis a big Christmas present with his verbal commitment, talented shooting guard Ricardo Ledo has decided to open up his recruiting again.

Ledo, who withdrew from South Kent earlier this month and is now enrolled at Notre Dame Prep, announced his decision this today via his Twitter account, writing: "I'm no longer a providence friar I decided to open my recruitment back up and view my other options."

The 6-foot-6 Providence native, the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 2 shooting guard in ESPNU's Class of 2012 rankings, verbally committed to the Friars last Christmas Eve. At the time of his commitment, he was also considering Kansas, Syracuse, UConn, Louisville and Kentucky.
