Two locals selected to Jordan Brand Classic

Jordan Brand has released the rosters for the All-American Game for April's 10th Annual Jordan Brand Classic, to be held at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte; and once again, Notre Dame Prep's Khem Birch and St. Andrew's Michael Carter-Williams have found themselves on a short list.

Both Birch and Carter-Williams, who were selected to the McDonald's All-American Game last Thursday, will suit up for the East squad in the All-American game. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 at 8 p.m., and serves as the nightcap of a tripleheader that includes an International Game and Regional Game earlier in the day. The rosters for the two other games have not been announced yet.

This will mark the first time in the history of the game that players originally from two different Eastern Canadian provinces will suit up for the game. Findlay Prep point guard Myck Kabongo, a Toronto native, will oppose the Montreal-bred Birch on the West roster.
