Report: Palazzi to replace Dubzinski at Leominster

According to a report today on the website of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Leominster High School is parting ways with long-time head football coach John Dubzinski after 25 years, and tapping former Blue Devils quarterback and offensive coordinator Dave Palazzi as his replacement.

The Blue Devils went 4-7 this season under Dubzinski, who won more than two-thirds of his games at Leominster and has 215 wins for his career. In his final game as head coach, the Blue Devils beat Thanksgiving Day archrival Fitchburg, 24-18, in double-overtime.

The Telegram is also reporting, citing sources, that Dubzinski has filed a grievance with the Massachusetts Teachers Association to try and get his job back.
