W&M's Anderson commits to Kansas

Citing multiple sources, ESPNU is reporting that Wilbraham & Monson post-graduate power forward Braeden Anderson gave his verbal commitment to sign with Kansas earlier today.

The 6-foot-8, 222-pound Anderson, a Calgary native, initially signed a Letter of Intent with DePaul University during the early signing period last November. He asked out of his release last January, and committed to the Jayhawks today over interest from Arizona, Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Anderson will join another player in the New England prep school ranks -- ESPNU100 point guard and Worcester native Naadir Tharpe of Brewster Academy (N.H.) -- in Bill Self's incoming recruiting class.
