New Hampton (N.H.) junior quarterback/defensive back Jake Kiley is one of 400 players nationally nominated to participate in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The selection committee, made up of Rivals.com staff and All American Games' regional network of coaches, picked the list of 400 names that will be whittled down to the 90 players who will participate in the game. Captain Drew Masone, a representative from the U.S. Army, presented Kiley with his nomination at School Meeting on Monday.
The matchup of East vs. West on Jan. 7, 2012 will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour begins in September.
Kiley, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound native of Plymouth, N.H., led New Hampton to an 8-1 season in 2009 and a 7-2 season in 2010. He was named All-New England and was voted the Most Valuable Player in the Evergreen League as a junior.
