BABC's Selden shines at LeBron Skills Academy

ESPN's Reggie Rankin checks in from the first day of the LeBron James Skills Academy, at the University of Akron's James A. Rhodes Arena, and takes note of the youthful energy in the air.

More specifically, Rankin makes note of Boston native and Tilton (N.H.) swingman Wayne Selden, who is once again turning heads on the summer circuit. Selden, who plays for the Boston Amateur Basketball Club, is currently the No. 7 overall player and No. 2 shooting guard in the Class of 2014.

Rankin writes:

Selden is a strong and physical shooting guard who attacks the rim from the wing and in transition, where he is a true finisher as he scores through contact with ease. He had an all-business approach in the drills and competed throughout the workout. Selden has a chance to be a beast on the perimeter with his off-the-charts upside. He already has offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Kentucky and Pitt with Duke, North Carolina and Ohio State showing interest.
