Framingham hires Adam Cluff for boys hoop

Framingham High Athletic Director Gary Doherty announced this afternoon the hiring of Adam Cluff as its new head varsity basketball coach.

Cluff has been coaching in the Bay State Conference since 2002, most recently as the varsity assistant at Wellesley. He succeeds Mike Tarlin, who stepped down to spend more time with his family. The Flyers went 1-17 last season, and have not made the Division 1 South tournament since making a run to the semifinals in 2008.

"I am thrilled to have the privilege to be the head coach of Flyer basketball and look forward to committing to improving every day with my players and coaching staff," Cluff said in a press release. "The Bay State League is one of the best sports conferences in the state and I am excited to build a program to consistently compete at the highest level."
