Catholic Memorial senior cornerback Armani Reeves announced at a Friday morning press conference that he will play his college football at Penn State.
He becomes the fourth Knight to commit to a Division 1 FCS school since May, joining linebacker Camren Williams (Penn State), quarterback A.J. Doyle (NC State) and running back Donovan Henry (Boston College). A potential fifth, offensive lineman Tyler Loring, is drawing various Division 1 interest.
Last season, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Reeves earned a spot on ESPNBoston's inaugural MIAA All-State Team after amassing 1,279 all-purpose yards and scoring 16 touchdowns in four different ways –- receiving, rushing, and returning both punts and kicks.
Reeves, an Easton native was also recruited by Notre Dame, Stanford and Boston College.
He is currently ranked a three-star prospect by ESPNU, and earlier this year was named to the ESPNU 150 Watch List.
