Miami (Ohio) offers Andover's Marshall

Andover High junior tight end Alex Marshall received his second Division 1 FBS offer yesterday, from Miami of Ohio, he announced on his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-7, 225-pound Marshall was an ESPN Boston All-State selection at tight end in 2014 after recording 22 catches for 351 yards and four touchdowns for the Golden Warriors. He initially committed to the University of North Carolina in lacrosse his sophomore year, but de-committed last year to turn his focus to football.

Marshall received his first FBS offer during the 2014 season, from UMass. Last summer he took visits to Boston College, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and Michigan State.
