One of the key aspects of Sunday's game between the Patriots and Jets will be how New England handles the blitz. According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Jets lead the NFL in terms of blitzes, bringing five or more rushers on 58.7 percent of opposing passing plays.
In the first meeting between the teams Sept. 20, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady struggled against the blitz, going 12 of 30 for 122 yards and an interception.
Over the last four games, however, Brady has been better against the blitz. He's thrown seven touchdowns and no interceptions against added pressure.
