FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who missed Wednesday's practice with right finger, rib and right shoulder injuries, was present at practice Thursday but had limited participation.
Media members are allowed to watch only a small portion of the start of practice which includes stretching drills. Brady was present then, but the Patriots submitted a participation report later stating that his action was limited.
Brady's toughness was detailed in this piece on ESPNBoston.com. His former teammate Tedy Bruschi said Thursday in a chat: "He's one of the toughest guys in the locker room. He's trying to lead by example that even though you're hurt, you still need to be there for your team."
Brady missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday last week. He was listed as questionable on the team's injury report heading into their game against the Carolina Panthers, and coach Bill Belichick later said that there was concern up to game-time about his availability.
