Programming note: Let's roll

1. Receiver Randy Moss selected a new agent (Joel Segal), a minor move when it comes to on-field implications in 2010.

2. The Patriots signed seventh-round draft choice Brandon Deaderick, meaning they have now come to official agreements with six of their 12 draft choices.

3. Defensive lineman Vince Wilfork and the Patriots announced the "Help Vince" game.

4. Agent Frank Bauer told the Boston Herald that he has not had contract discussions with the Patriots regarding disgruntled offensive lineman Logan Mankins.

Those were some of the main headlines from over the last two weeks while I was off from work, focusing on spending quality time with my family. It is still a slower time on the NFL calendar, but things will be ramping up here on the blog and a Patriots mailbag will be published Tuesday.

The first public training camp practice for the team is scheduled for Thursday, July 29.
