FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- There was one moment during the Patriots' joint practice with the Falcons on Tuesday that was somewhat surreal.
The Patriots skill-position players on offense were working a 7-on-7 passing drill against the Falcons back seven when Tom Brady lofted a pass down the right sideline to Randy Moss. The ball looked overthrown. Also, cornerback Brian Williams had what appeared to be good coverage.
Yet at the last moment, Moss extended his right arm and made a one-handed catch, the ball just sticking like a magnet.
There was little reaction at the spectacular play, which seemed to reflect Moss's overall camp effort -- quietly magnificent. What resulted after watching the play, and considering Moss's overall body of work to this point, is a story now posted on ESPNBoston.com.
