Adrenaline helps Brady with foot

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's foot injury didn't affect his performance in Sunday's win over the Steelers, although he acknowledged Tuesday that it was something he had to overcome.

"You get the adrenaline going, it helps a lot," Brady said during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI. "There are a lot of people dealing with stuff. Every guy on our team is nicked up."

Brady had missed last Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, which was the first practice he had missed all season. He was also limited in Thursday's and Friday's practices.

Brady finished Sunday's game 30 of 43 for 350 yards with three touchdowns. He added a 3-yard rushing touchdown.
