Rex on Pats game: We can beat anybody

With the Jets' 26-10 win over the hapless Bengals (2-9) on Thanksgiving night, Rex Ryan was feeling confident and chatty, as usual, as his 9-2 team looks ahead to facing the 9-2 Patriots on Dec. 6.

Even after watching his Jets struggle on offense and quarterback Mark Sanchez play his worst game in five weeks, Ryan was eager to offer some pre-New England trash talking.

"Our football team believes we can beat anybody, and we're going to prove it," the coach said. "We've won eight in a row on the road, and we plan on making it nine."

He added with more than a hint of sarcasm: "Clearly, they're the best team in football. That's what all the experts say, except me."
