On Sept. 5, when teams were trimming their rosters to 53 players, the Patriots acquired veteran linebacker Tracy White in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
At the time, the details of the trade were undisclosed.
Those details have since come to light: The Patriots acquired White and a 2012 seventh-round draft choice in exchange for a 2012 sixth-round draft choice. So the trade for White does not affect the team's 2011 draft picks.
White was second on the Patriots in special teams tackles (18) this season. He is scheduled to become an unresticted free agent and expressed hope that he would be returning in 2011.
