Patriots coach Bill Belichick is among the NFL personnel present at University of Miami Pro Day today, according to the Twitter account of Miami's associate athletic director. Other head coaches in attendance include Jacksonville's Jack Del Rio and Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin.
This is part of an annual Florida scouting trip for Belichick, who attended a Red Sox/Cardinals spring training game earlier in the week.
Some top Miami prospects this year include:
DL Allen Bailey -- Projected as an early-round pick, he appeared in 50 games (24 starts) over the last four seasons, with seven sacks apiece in 2009 and 2010.
OL Orlando Franklin -- Has played a lot of football (51 games, 39 starts) and showed the ability to play left tackle last season.
WR Leonard Hankerson -- In 41 games over the last four seasons, totaled 134 receptions and 22 touchdowns. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper has him rated as the third-best receiver in the draft.
CB Brandon Harris -- Entering the draft after his junior season, analysts view him as an early-round pick. He played in 39 games (32 starts) with four interceptions over the last three seasons.
