With the possibility that there won't be a full NFL offseason, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter compiles a list of the players who could lose the most money in terms of workout bonuses.
Quarterback Tom Brady and outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain are the Patriots most affected.
Brady has a $250,000 workout bonus. Nineteen other players have a richer bonus.
Banta-Cain has a $200,000 bonus. Thirty-seven other players have a richer bonus.
One twist with Brady's bonus money is that there is a clause in his contract that ups his bonus from $250,000 to $500,000 in the event there are no workouts. On the surface, that looks like shrewd work by Brady's agents, Don Yee and Steve Dubin.
