NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a letter to NFL players on Thursday that outlined the league's last proposal to the union and asked the players to encourage the union to return to the bargaining table and conclude a new collective bargaining agreement.
This prompted Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden, on Twitter, to ask: "Who gave Goodell my email address?"
Predictably, Goodell's letter generated passionate reaction from some players around the NFL, as detailed in this ESPN.com story. Some view it as the commissioner attempting to undercut the union.
Meanwhile, Patriots player representative Matt Light shared his overall thoughts on the labor situation with the Boston Herald.
"They're treating us like we're children and they're parents," Light said.
