Stories of the Patriots on the scouting scene are plentiful. The team's scouts and coaches are pounding the pavement across the country.
One such example came Tuesday when Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia ran position drills at Utah's Pro Day. In particular, Scarnecchia was working with center Zane Taylor.
The 6-foot-2, 310-pound Taylor is one of the stronger players at his position, having totaled 41 reps on the bench press. He started 39 games at center for Utah and is considered a Day 3 selection (fourth- seventh rounds).
When looking at Patriots needs, one could make a case that interior offensive line is one area the team will be focusing in the draft.
Taylor is one possibility to keep on the radar.
