NFL Network's "Everything to Prove" feature followed some of the top prospects in the draft, and video from offensive tackle Nate Solder is now posted on NFL.com. The video was shot before the draft and gives a feel for where Solder grew up in Colorado.
The segment starts with Solder at his parents' Bed and Breakfast -- Peri & Ed's Mountain Hideaway -- and features footage of his parents. Solder explains what he likes about the setting.
"It's down to earth, it's real," he says.
Solder's love of animals is also highlighted in the video, which is combined with a segement on former Ohio State defensive lineman Cameron Heyward (No. 31, Steelers).
"This is a part of me that I'll always carry with me," Solder says of his Colorado roots. "This is who I am."
EXTRA POINT: Solder's visit with Patriots owner Robert Kraft is also captured in this "Everything to Prove" segment (starts after Mark Herzlich story).
