ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi is hosting 54 children today at Gillette Stadium for his annual SBLI football mini-camp.
The children, ages 7-14, were chosen through an essay contest in partnership with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and the Boston Public Schools, with the topic of the essay how they planned to be healthy and do their best in school. Some other spots in the camp were awarded to other non-profit organizations.
The experience for the 54 children will include getting changed in a locker room, getting the game-plan from Bruschi in the locker room, as well as being introduced over the public address system at Gillette Stadium before being drilled by Bruschi and players.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and some current Patriots players are scheduled to attend.
ESPNBoston.com is scheduled to be there to capture the scene.
