The Patriots worked out free-agent defensive lineman Raheem Brock today, and here are Brock's thoughts about how it went:
"Had a great workout today! ......Decisions....Decisions....Decisions..." he said on Twitter.
This marks the second straight day that the Patriots worked out a defender, as defensive end/outside linebacker Matt Roth was in town Tuesday.
The Patriots have been utilizing a four-man line for the early part of training camp and both players would project to end in that set-up. The 6-foot-4, 274-pound Brock, who has played for the Colts (2002-2009) and Seahawks (2010), is coming off a season in which he had a career-high nine sacks in a reserve role.
The Patriots are currently working with six-year veteran Eric Moore and second-year player Jermaine Cunningham as top ends. If Brock or Roth joined the team, it would likely be as part of a rotation with Moore and Cunningham.
