Chung joins Patriots at practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Safety Patrick Chung, who underwent surgery on his right thumb this week and missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, was dressed in uniform and joined his teammates at practice today.

Chung sprinted through the locker room while reporters were present, and when asked if he has a chance to play Sunday, he smiled.

"I'm keeping it low," he said.

The Boston Herald reported today that Chung, who has a hard black cast over his right thumb, is out for the game. The report did not cite a source, but indicated that the Herald had learned the information that Chung would be out.
