Pats show up on All-Pro teams

This being the midpoint of the NFL season, national reporters often put together their midseason All-Pro teams. Three Patriots players have shown up on the radar.

Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com tabs two New England players -- receiver Wes Welker and right guard Brian Waters.

Meanwhile, Mike Lombardi of NFL Network selects tight end Rob Gronkowski and Waters. Lombardi leaves Welker off in place of Steve Smith (Carolina) and Calvin Johnson (Detroit).

ESPN.com senior writer John Clayton's All-Pro team doesn't include any Patriots.

Waters' recognition is impressive considering he joined the Patriots after training camp. He also was adjusting to right guard after playing the left side throughout his NFL career.

In another midpoint type of story, Foxsports.com national reporter Alex Marvez assesses each team in report-card type fashion.
