McCourty, Spikes not spotted

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Cornerback Devin McCourty was among three players not present at the start of the team's practice today, as preparations intensify for Monday's game against the Chiefs.

McCourty left Sunday's game in New York with a shoulder injury, which was later reported by WBZ-TV to be a separated shoulder. If he doesn't play Monday, Antwaun Molden would likely earn his first career NFL start.

Linebackers Brandon Spikes (knee) and Dane Fletcher (thumb) were also not present for practice. Neither player traveled with the team for Sunday's game against the Jets.

The practice was held in light shoulder pads in the Dana Farber Fieldhouse.
