FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was absent from the team's full pads practice on Wednesday, held inside the team's fieldhouse due to rainy conditions.
Ridley played a season-high 28 snaps in Sunday's win over the Colts, but did not leave the game with any noticeable injury. Wednesday's injury report, to be released at 4 p.m., will shed more light on the rookie's status. On his Twitter account, Ridley mentioned flying to Baton Rouge on Monday, with plans to return on Thursday.
In addition, linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee) and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back/ankle) remained out of action after missing both of last week's padded practices.
