Several of the Patriots' Pro Bowl selections reacted to the news today, and their thoughts are captured in a piece by Steven Krasner now posted on ESPNBoston.com.
The summons was enough to make even a 6-foot-6, 265-pound tight end a little nervous, not to mention a 6-foot, 200-pound special teamer.

The thoughts raced through their minds. What did I do wrong? Am I in trouble?
I asked real quick if this [meeting] was good or bad," admitted tight end Rob Gronkowski.
"I was a little worried at first," said special teams captain Matthew Slater.
But the news for Gronkowski and Slater was all good. They were selected for the Pro Bowl. Belichick gave them the word Tuesday.
"It was cool to hear it from him," said Gronkowski, in his second year in the NFL.
