Brady present for start of Friday practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (left shoulder) was present for the start of Friday's practice, the second straight day he has been spotted on the field.

Reporters were present for a brief period of stretching only, which is typical for Friday practices. Brady did not make any throws during that time.

Meanwhile, guard Logan Mankins (knee) and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back/foot) remained out of action for the third straight practice this week. Neither player is expected to play on Sunday against Buffalo.

Players were in light shoulder pads for the third straight day this week.
