FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Quick hits from the media-access period in the locker room (11:15 a.m.-noon):
1. After a whirlwind Wednesday, it was a bit quieter on Thursday. Players drawing large media crowds were defensive end Mark Anderson, linebacker Dane Fletcher, running back Kevin Faulk, wide receiver Julian Edelman, and safety James Ihedigbo. Players speaking at the podium in the media workroom were quarterback Tom Brady, safety Patrick Chung, and guards Brian Waters and Logan Mankins.
2. Offensive assistant Josh McDaniels quickly walked through the locker room, the first time he's been seen away from the practice field since his return to New England. McDaniels has yet to address the media on his return.
3. As a rookie in 2006, defensive end Mark Anderson was part of the Bears' Super Bowl run, defeating the Saints in the NFC Championship before losing to the Colts. Until this season, that was Anderson's last taste of the playoffs. "It's real difficult, man. You have to make sure you cherish every moment, because you never know when you're coming back again. ...It feels like forever. I figured that I went to the Super Bowl my first year and 'let's do this every year.' But that's definitely not the case."
