Patriots receiver Chad Ochocinco traveled to Florida last night, according to Tom Curran of Comcast SportsNet, shining the spotlight on his availability for Sunday's AFC Championship Game because of weather conditions in New England.
Ochocinco's father passed away earlier this week, and the Boston Herald reported he was en route to the funeral, with plans to return for Sunday's game.
The snowy weather could throw a wrench into Ochocinco's return itinerary.
Ochocinco has played in 16 of the team's 17 games this season. He was on the field for one play in the team's divisional-round win over the Broncos, with Tiquan Underwood and Julian Edelman the top backups to Wes Welker and Deion Branch.
