On Twitter, @BMatadeen asks the question, "How is this work week and next week going to work? A few days off here? I'm unclear about the 2 week schedule."
Figuring that the question might be of interest to all, the thought was to answer it here, where there are no 140-character restrictions.
As of right now, the Patriots are scheduled to practice Thursday and Friday. A Saturday practice is possible, although it hasn't been announced yet.
The team is scheduled to travel to Indianapolis on Sunday. There will be a sendoff rally that day, the details of which are yet to be announced.
Yesterday, players talked about using these next two days to finalize personal business, such as family travel plans for the game. It can be overwhelming, with kicker Stephen Gostkowski joking that he had 35 text messages immediately after the AFC Championship Game with Super Bowl requests, and he wasn't even sure he had 35 friends.
So to sum it up, today and tomorrow are lower-key days for players, with many are likely to show up at Gillette Stadium regardless for weightlifting and treatment. They'll practice at the end of the week, likely installing a good portion of the game-plan, then head to Indianapolis on Sunday with a good head start to manage a hectic week leading up to kickoff.
