Jason Licht, who has served as pro personnel director for the Patriots the last three seasons, has left the club. The Arizona Cardinals announced today that Licht has been hired as director of player personnel.
This isn't expected to be the only change with the Patriots' scouting/personnel staff. It is commonplace, after the draft, for those changes to occur.
Licht was profiled in the Omaha World-Herald on Sunday, a piece also featured in this space.
The pro personnel director is generally responsible for scouting the league's 31 other teams, among other responsibilities.
Bob Quinn, a native of Norwood, Mass. who has been with the club the last 12 seasons, is the assistant director of pro personnel.
