Former Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown will take part in the NFL's sixth annual 'Broadcast Boot Camp' later this month at NFL Films' headquarters in Mt. Laurel, N.J., the NFL announced Monday.
Brown has been active on the Boston sports media scene since retiring in 2008. He will be one of 23 current former players taking part in this year's four-day seminar, which includes hands-on radio and TV workshops taught by dozens of industry experts from the league's broadcast partners.
Also taking part in this year's workshop are former Patriots linebacker Corey Mays (2006-2007), quarterback Kevin O'Connell (2008), linebacker Chad Brown (2005, 2007), and kicker Shayne Graham (2010).
Former Patriots to participate in past 'boot camps' include tackle Matt Light, defensive lineman Dan Klecko, safety Artrell Hawkins, and tight end Kyle Brady.
