FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Former Cincinnati Bengals fullback James Develin was spotted in the Patriots' locker room on Sunday morning and likely will fill the team's final practice squad spot.
(The Patriots confirmed Develin's addition to the practice squad later in the day.)
The 24-year-old Develin played defensive line at Brown from 2006-2009. After beginning the 2010 season with the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League, Develin joined Cincinnati's practice squad late in 2010 and remained there in 2011.
The 6-foot-3, 251-pound Develin becomes the second fullback on the practice squad, joining Eric Kettani.
