Vollmer, Mankins don't make it to finish

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos with a knee injury.

Vollmer did not return. He was replaced at right tackle by Marcus Cannon.

The fourth-year player has been listed as limited in practice since the start of the season with a back injury, which he also dealt with last season.

In addition, guard Logan Mankins left the game in the fourth quarter with a calf injury. He remained on the sideline, however, with a wrap on his left leg. He was replaced by Donald Thomas at left guard.

Mankins was already on the injury report with a hip ailment and had the calf injury added earlier this week.
