ESPN NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi says that despite their mediocre records, the Patriots and the Broncos are two teams that will greatly improve as the season progresses.
Appearing on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Bruschi said the Broncos and new quarterback Peyton Manning are making key adjustments and are moving in the right direction.
“I’ve said this all along from the beginning of the season, this team will be better after Thanksgiving than it is right now. And that’s dangerous,” he said.
“The good teams -- the Giants, the Broncos, the Patriots -- they’re the teams that” continue to develop their players, build and improve during the season.
“The good coaches coach up all of those players through the season to where they still don’t know what they really have until Thanksgiving comes along,” he said.
“You keep coaching them up and you want to see the improvement throughout the course of the year, because you want your team to get better and to peak at the right time,” he said.
