Kraft: London ready for NFL team

LONDON -- Speaking on stage at the NFL's FanFest event at Trafalgar Square, Patriots owner Robert Kraft shared his belief that London is ready for an NFL team.

"You're already hosting the premier league, and we believe we're the premier sport in the world," Kraft said to the thousands in attendance. "I think London has shown, with the way they've handled the Olympics and every other major sporting event, that it's time for you to have your own NFL franchise, based in London."

Previously, Kraft was asked by host Ross Tucker about the impact American football is having in London.

"Absolutely. These people out here make us feel that this is a home game -- New England is coming back to England," he said.
