Mankins, Welker, Connolly missing again

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots were without wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) and guards Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) and Dan Connolly (back) for the start of Thursday's practice.

All three players did not practice on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, linebacker Tracy White (foot), who had been out for a month prior to his return on Wednesday, departed practice during the stretching period. At one point, White had his shoe off on the sideline, and spoke with head trainer Jim Whalen and coach Bill Belichick before leaving with Whalen for the locker room.

The Patriots practiced outdoors in cold conditions and were in full pads.
