Welker, Connolly back at practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) and guard Dan Connolly (back) both returned to practice Friday, the team's final session of the week.

Guard Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) was the lone player not spotted. He has not practiced this week.

Welker and Connolly's return make it more likely that one or both players could play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The team will release a full injury report later Friday.

Players were in light shoulder pads after practicing in full pads on Thursday.
