EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Welcome to MetLife Stadium, where the New England Patriots (7-3) will face the New York Jets (4-6) in a Thanksgiving night clash.

Doesn't feel like late November. The current temperature in North Jersey is 55 degrees, and the temperature is expected to stay in the 40s throughout the game. Skies are clear, winds are light, and no precipitation is in the forecast. A great night for football.

Four more inactives needed. The Patriots will need to deactivate an additional four players for this game. The team has already declared tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/hip), guard Logan Mankins (ankle/calf), and defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle) as out for the game. There are an additional 13 players listed as questionable.

Carey gets the call. Tonight's official is Mike Carey, who will be officiating his first Patriots game this season.

Thanksgiving festivities. NBC is airing its first ever Thanksgiving night game, which will include a live halftime performance by musician Lenny Kravitz.

Scouts in the house. There are scouts from the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants in attendance at tonight's game. The Patriots travel to face the Dolphins next week, while the Jets will host the Cardinals. The Giants, of course, share this facility with the Jets.
