Schefter: Pats didn't make offer to Jennings

Earlier today we explored the possibility of what Greg Jennings could have meant to the Patriots offense based off of a report that stated he had been offered a contract by the team early on in free agency.

ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter, who is in Arizona at the league owner meetings, reports that a league source was adamant that no offer was made by the Patriots to Jennings.

Jennings eventually landed a deal with Minnesota for five years and up to $47.5 million, taking him from one NFC North franchise (he's played his entire career with the Packers) to another.
