T.O. works out with Brady at USC

A day after being spotted with new Patriots teammate Danny Amendola working out at USC, Tom Brady was back on the field at the Trojans' facility and throwing passes to an unlikely target on Wednesday: Terrell Owens, who last played in an NFL game during the 2010 season.

Owens tweeted about the workout, noting that it also involved current Vikings and former Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel. USC's athletic department also mentioned the workout via Twitter.

The 39-year old wide receiver spent just over three weeks with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp last August, but was eventually released prior to the start of the regular season. He spent the 2010 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, starting 11 of 14 games and recording 72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns. He is the NFL's second all-time leader in receiving yards and third in receiving touchdowns.

Prior to signing with the Seahawks, Owens played in eight games for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. He also became a co-owner of the team upon signing.

Brady has made a habit of working out with receivers near his offseason home in Southern California, spending extensive time with Wes Welker and Julian Edelman in previous offseasons.

The Patriots begin their offseason workout program on April 15, and organized team activities start on May 20.
