The agent for free-agent offensive lineman Tyronne Green announced on Twitter that Green has agreed to a deal with the Patriots.
Green is a 27-year old former fourth-round draft choice of the Chargers who spent the first four seasons of his career in San Diego. He started 13 games in 2012 and has played in 41 career games.
The Patriots recently worked out a pair of offensive linemen and appear to have been targeting an interior offensive lineman for depth purposes entering organized team activities. With guard Dan Connolly having undergone offseason shoulder surgery, it's possible that he'll be unavailable for some or all of OTA's.
Green, 6-foot-2 and 316 pounds, played his college football at Auburn. For more on his background, CLICK HERE.
